Ayyappanmudi, the serene temple is situated at the at the hill top of Ayyappan mudi. It is a solace to thousands of worshipers in and around Chembikkodu and the near vicinity.

The legend says, the rice ball for Lord Ayyappa is transformed into a rock and is still fascinating to see it stays in absolute balance at the hill top.

Temple Opening Day and Time

The temple on Ayyappan mudi Hill Top is open to devotees only on the First Saturday of Every Malayalam Month.

Ayyappan mudi (Mount Ayyappa) serene hill top situated in Ernakulam dist. 8 Km from Kothamangalam en-route to Thattekkad.

Ayyappan mudi, a rocky hillock which got its name from the Lord Ayappa temple that is situated at the top. The lone temple and the beautiful scenery on top gives a calming effect after the trek.
