Husk is the rough exterior of the coconut. Husk is the tough fiber and is made up of the coir. The natural elastic fiber extracted from coconut is used to make rope and coir strings. Coconut husks fiber is the main raw material used to produce floor mats and wall mats, brushes, mattresses, ropes and other handicrafts. The whole dry husks are used as fuel.
The second part after the husk is brown hard shell. After extracting the flush, the thick shell of coconut is used to make handicrafts and toys.
